Javelin Bike Update

Just an FYI for you BT'ers that bought Javelin bikes on their closeout deal. I took mine in last night to get fit, yes it's been sitting around for months....sue me. Anyway, they went to change the stem and found that the steer tube had been cut. The tube only went about 1/3 of the way into the stem. Essentialy one screw was holding the front end on. That could have been ugly.

I just got off the phone and they are shipping me out a new fork pronto. Pretty good customer service.

Anyway, I just wanted to throw out a heads up to have folks check if they haven't. I'm hoping it was just a one time mistake and that no one else has the same issue.
