Any good OWS's in Shreveport??

Not sure how the weather is going to be for a OWS in Shreveport this weekend, but if you're really wanting to get one in, the best place for one will be at Cypress Black Bayou Park in Benton (which is really in North Bossier). There will be a swimming area and most of us usually swim along the roped off buoy line. I think two lengths of it is around 800 yards.

I don't think I've heard of anyone doing OWS in Cross Lake or Red River. I definitely wouldn't do an OWS in the Red.....unless it's with a group or during a race that's being monitored and even then, I'm not sure if I'd swim in the Red.
