Subject: Cumming ride on Sunday?
Anyone up for a 40ish mile ride Sunday morning through Cumming/Alpharetta? My original plans were to drive to the comet and do a 3.5 hour ride, until gas prices went up 40 cents in less then 12 hours. So now I cant justify driving almost 100 miles round trip just to ride. If there are no takers, I have mapped a route from my house off pilgrim mill. I am willing to change it and maybe do part of the reality ride. I might even be up for an OWS at mary alice beforehand

Here is a link to my tentative course. It is fairly low traffic early in the morning, and it isnt too hilly, just the one long hill on Ronald Reagan

I am probably looking at an average pace somewhere between 16 and 18 mph. This is my last long ride before I taper and I wont be pushing too hard, more about the distance then the speed

Usually I would be up for that ... but am in WDC.  Note for the record that a number of us do a ride on Saturday mornings in Cumming (kind of a modified Reality Bikes route).

Sometimes it is from LifeTime Fitness in Alpharetta, sometimes it is from Sawnee Preserve (Cumming Park off of Tribble Gap Road).  It is on a temporary hiatus for October but coming back shortly.

Would love to have you along.
