10/13  166 lbs

10/20  164 lbs

10/27  164 lbs

11/03  165.5 lbs

I've been playing with the same 2 lbs for the last 2 months.  My husband is home from being gone for 5 weeks, and I'm starting my 1/2 mary training, so I'm hoping to see some better numbers in the next few weeks.  I won't hit my goal, but I won't stop trying

I am stuck at 149lbs right now - but my BMI has gone down. I am more toned, now if I can just get the scale to move as well!

9/26 = 142
9/29 = 143.2
10/6 = 138
10/13 = 139.2
10/21 = 137.2
11/3= 141.8
11/10 = 139.1
11/17 = 139.1
11/24 = 138.1

I don't think I'll reach my goal of 130 by Christmas. That would be 2 lbs a week until then. I can go down 3 lbs during the week, but then the weekend kills me. I don't eat horrible, but I don't always have time to fit in a workout either.

mammaJaS - I do plan to do another half-marathon! In fact, I have entered one in February. I talked my husband into taking me to Austin for Valentine's Day to run in the one there. I am hoping that it will help me stay focused and disciplined through the holidays. Then I want to work towards some sprint tri's in the spring and an Olympic length in the summer.

I hope everyone managed to give away all of the candy tonight!!! : )

what a great Valentine's day idea!

I totally understand you wanting to see the number on the scale go down but as long as you notice a difference in your body (which usually leads to mentally also!) then the number doesn't mean as much ~ in my opinion, of course!  You're doing awesome ~ keep it up and your weight WILL go down!!

Yuck, back up .5 pounds.  Well, I thought that might happen.  We went out to dinner twice last week and we NEVER eat out like that.  (Usually, it's about once a month)   I tried to be good and was fairly good, but it's always hard to judge at a restaurant.  At least at home, you know what you are putting in your cooking.

I'm not going to make my 1/1/09 goal of 189. I had to take a couple weeks off for injury, and I got depressed and just massively pigged out. I gained 10 pounds in 3 weeks. Yikes. Thankfully 4 are already gone.

    I'm setting a new goal of 195 by 1/1/09. That's 8 lbs. and about 2 lbs/week.

Congrats to those who are losing, and to those who aren't, maybe think about setting a new goal rather than continuing to beat yourself up for not hitting your original goal (as I was doing). It's tough to stay motivated this time of year.

Well, I've met my Christmas goal early!   I'm really happy with myself but I have to give it up for these challenges and everyone's support ~ they've really got me out the door when all I really want to do is just sit on my a$$ or go to bed!  I'm not where I want to be yet so i'm still "tri'ing for weightloss."  Ultimately I would LOVE to get to 135 but getting back to my pre pregnancy weight is a huge accomplishment for me!  I will still be weighing in each Monday but I'm happy to say with new goals!

YAY!! Your consistency in training is very impressive and just goes to show that if you get out and do something every day you'll see results. Congratulations and good luck on getting to 135.....you can do it!

Thank you!  I have to agree with what you said about weight training really helping!  I've been focusing more on cardio so I've made that one of my goals in a challenge for December!
