So yesterday i did a small triathlon(1200y/14.5mile/2mile) to get ready for my HIM this weekend and i wore the tri top + bottom that i am planning on racing in. After i got done i had two spots below my armpits toward my back a bit that clearly were caused by my tri top.

Now the question is whether or not the Swimming or the running caused this. I have raced in this combo before (800m/27mile/7mile) and i don't recall the same problem at all. I guess i can always throw some bodyglide on it and hope it won't happen... but just wanted to see if anyone could throw out a hypothesis.

I have had this happen, definitly from the run. I found for me, the sweat caused friction which caused chafing. I just swipe some body glide on and its fine....

Ok, thanks ..... i'm just hoping that it will take care of it.... not really gonna run in the top again until race day.....and was really wanting to make sure noone thought it was from the swim... b/c that would be a rough awakening to figure that out in the middle of the lake. haha

I have that problem when I swim in salt water.  not from my suit, but on the skin toward the back of the arm pit.  body glide helps me too.
