Subject: Hi from West Michigan

My name is Kelly.  I have been an on/off runner for the past 5 years.  I haven't done any distance, just 3-5 miles for part of my keeping fit routine.  I will be 40 next August and decided to complete a tri for a birthday present for myself. 

I would love any advice and would be interested in a training group if there are any in the area.  I haven't researched too much  yet.  I did find a swim training group at the local high school pool that starts in November that I plan on signing up for.

Hey Gojojo welcome (and Taffle too)! GR here. There is a growing number of BTers over here on the western side of the state. Head on over to the Michigan room and soak up the knowledge, humor, and collegiality! And ask, ask, ask --questions are encouraged!
