Hickory Knob

Whoops...anyways is anyone doing this Oly on October 11?  Once again I procrastinated in booking a room and now there is nothing available within like an hour of the race site, which to me negates the point of getting a room.  The race site is about 2 1/2 hours away from Atlanta and driving that far on race morning is realllllllllly not an option.  I swore to myself I would never sleep in my car for a race again.......

I'm seriously thinking about it. It all depends on how my run this weekend goes. But I'm also planning on driving from Athens - it looks to be, oh, about 2 hours, maybe less. I've done that far on race morning without too much problem. The other option is to stay with the in-laws in Augusta, which is closer to Hickory Knob. Have you checked there? Or into hotel rooms in Lincolnton?

You are a life saver!! I had no idea Lincolnton was even on the map haha.  Found a room 15 min. from the race site for $53!! Thanks again =)
