Pre-race routine:

Signed up for the race. Met up with Wendi Mike and the kids. Drove home to get my hat after I registered and drove part of the race course

It was a good run for me. Did 10 seconds better than my race 2 weeks ago. It was cool and windy.

Just keep training

Got my sweats as it was quite cool and I was sweaty.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I'm not a good runner

Event comments:

It was a small locally run race. Wendi ran with her kids. Mike took off at the start. I did well for me. I just need to work on my endurance. My hamstring didn't hurt much. My shins didn't hurt at all and my hip was good. All major triumphs beyond the whole running thing.
