Subject: RE: Last Meal My pre-race dinner is always whole-wheat pasta with sauce, and some chicken. I don't recommend you eat whole wheat pasta tonight if you don't normally eat it. If you haven't practiced your pre-race meal the night before your big training days, just eat a normal dinner tonight (i.e., something typical of what you would eat during the week). FWIW, pretty much starting in Feb or March, I eat my pre-race dinner every Friday night (or Saturday night if my long ride/brick is on Sunday). I also practice my pre-race breakfast the next morning, before my long ride/brick. But, don't think too much about it. Just eat what's normal for you, and you'll be fine. Good luck tomorrow!!! |
