I have noticed several "where can I run?" threads lately. As a business traveler myself it would be great if we could have a section where we could all collaborate on the best places to swim, bike and run when in certain city or locale. I know Runners World mag highlights a different city each month with places to run accompanied with a map, maybe we could incorporate that same idea here.....just an idea

I love the idea - Living in Connecticut, I always wonder where the best places to bike are as well as where the soft surfaces for running might be.

I third the notion. We could set up blank links by province/state and people could enter in their favorite running spots at that level, or create a city level below that and put in their favourite routes there. I know when I go travelling it sure would be nice not to have to guess at a map at where a nice trail might be found.

I vote for the same here. Being a newbie in just about everything tri, I could use some farorite spots even in my part of the world.

Rather than adding another forum, why not put up a  route/pool reviews section like the trail reviews over at MTBR.com?

actually one can just mirror the 'clubs' database in the 'directory'...change a few titles and viola!

that would be the easiest in my opinion...i will look into it...
