Hello from NC

I wanted to say "hello" and introduce myself to everyone.  My name is Mike and after being a lurker for some time (sounds kinda creepy) I have decided to finally get on here and get and give support to others like me.  I am doing my first tri next weekend, the Take Flight Tri in NC.  Cant wait.  I am so excited.  My wife thinks I am going through a mid life crisis being that the race is 2 days after I turn 40.  My roomate in college used to do tri's and I always thought they were cool so I thought I would finally get off my rear and give it a shot.  My goal is to finish and not die.  Not too concerned with where I place as I will view the experience as a learning one and a benchmark.  That being said, I'm sure I  will get pissed if someone tries to pass me anywhere on the course.  I will return the favor to them next time.
