Hey fellow BT'ers!

My wife and I will be moving back this month.  I am making the first of two trips on Monday.  Yes, I have to drive the trip twice...from SoCal to MN!

Hopefully, many of you will like to train during the fall and winter!!!

I moved out here three years ago from NorCal and it was one of the better decisions I have made. I don't think I would go back west.  Doing that drive is rough. Good Luck.

well, we are renting out our house in Shakopee through February.  So, we are going to do the thing that we didn't want to do and move into my parents house.  A large house with a huge basement that we can have our own privacy.  We decided to do this because for the next few months/6months/1 year, we are going to save like crazy and buy another house.

Welcome back to Minnesota. I must say I would give to have some of the warmer weather than CA has to offer. Of course, we all train in the winter and some of us don't even ever open the door of a Lifetime Fitness. Outside running for me ALL winter. What else would I have to brag about. Good luck with the move and house hunting in the near future.

Welcome back!

I just have to note how funny it is to read some of these responses. So many people who aren't from here turn up their noses but people who do move here are very reluctant to leave. I just find it all very interesting. A friend's husband is an executive recruiter and said, "Minnesota is the hardest place to get execs to move TO but its also the hardest place to get them to leave".

Oh, and good luck living with the 'rents. I'd have to come on some pretty hard times to consider that.
