Looking into getting a bike in the next week and want to pick one on my needs rather than total looks so wanna see what some people have gotten into customizing wise like decals/painting/etc

I jam playing cards into my spokes so it makes that neat sound when I pedal. Use only red cards. ;-)

As you've seen before.  I have a bright orange flag on the back of my bike.

Please note:  I can not take credit for the "customized" stickers on my front disc wheel as those are factory standard stickers.

Steve, Is that flag a new addition? I don't remember seeing it in previous photos, but then i'm not the most observant grizzly in the forest.

I know the RED cards make it go faster, but you forgot to mention the PINK carbon fiber glittery handlebar streamers.

seriously though, the only custom work i ever had done i did myself. painted my old trek mountain bike to look like a bit like a bontrager (back when they still made bikes), but i did too good a job. it was stolen only a week or so after i had it back in action. i have a picture somewhere, but not scanned. my speed blend tires and my creepy good luck dollie are the only really unique things about my current bike:
