My wife and I are just starting to train together.  We live in Auburn, and wondering if there is any group training in the area.

Hey!  War Eagle!  I live in Montgomery and have a friend that I have just started training with.  We are both newbies.  I don't know of any official group, but would love to be a part of one.

This might help you meet some people.  Maybe not triathletes, but at least they ride bikes.

War Eagle...Thanks for the reply.  What are you guys training for?  We are training together for sprint tri's early next year, and if that goes well, I would like to do the half ironman in Augusta next september.  Would be interested to hear how you guys are training.

I'm in the Huntsville area.  My A race next year is Ironman Louisville.  This will be my second time around, I did 14:19 in 08 and should go sub 12:45 in 09.  I trained by the shotgun method in 08, but I start with my new coach in Nov.  My logs are open, stop by.

Starting the season off with New Orleans 70.3 in April, will do all the local races with my wife (Team Magic) & finish with IMKY in August 2009. Might do St. Anthony's again-undecided.

I am training for the Mullet Man Sprint in Gulf Shores this spring.  I have been doing the Couch to Sprint program since August but am starting a different Sprint program the first of November.

If you haven't done MulletMan, it is a blast. It is usually the first tri of the season around here, and it always sells out.

WAR DAMN EAGLE!!!!!!

I live in Opelika, and work as a nurse here in Auburn. I did the Mullet man last year, and will do so again this year. I also plan on doing the Augusta Ironman 70.3 in September. We ride with a group called the East Alabama Cyling Club. Look it up online.

Keep on Tri-ing,

Sethro Out

I was seriously looking at doing the M.M. for '09 but because I left something out on the course at the Emerald Coast  in PCB last year, I'm prolly gonna have to do it again. ( I had a flat 1/2 through the bike and had to DNF because of it. My first DNF ever...and it still stings...)

I'm doing the Mullet Man with my spouse and a few friends.  I just signed up for it a couple of days ago.  It will be my first tri.  We are in Millbrook AL.
