I've started to hear a lot about "Endurox" as a rocovery aide. Does anyone find this actually very helpful or do you use something better?

I did a search for Endurox on the site and no threads came up, most have fat fingered the search.

For now, I make my own recovery drink and looking at Endurox R4's supplement facts I'm pretty close. I mix up protein powder (1 scoop = 30g protein), corn sugar (pure carbs) , scoop of L-Glutamine, creatine and milk. I'm missing Branched Chain Amino Acids and L-Arginine.
You want to feed your muscles as soon as possible after a workout, and EnduroX is a convenient way of doing that, as it packs everything you need in correct ratios (I'd like if it had a bit more protein though). I will be getting some in the next round of supplement buying, but as it's rather expensive it won't be my primary post workout drink.

John,

There is a literal ton of information out there on Endurox R4 as it is the standard for recovery drinks. The vast majority of the manufactures who have developed other formulas have used the R4 research as the basis for their own product. PBN carries the Endurox R4 for $29.95 (28 serving canister) and offers BeginnerTriathlete members a 10% discount on all orders over $50. Simple enter BEGTRI (all CAPS) in the customer code box on the final check-out screen to have discount applied.

If you have any specific questions, don't hesitate to drop me an e-mail. I have an extensive background in the sport including a 9:31 at this past Ironman Florida Triathlon and am ALWAYS happy to hear from our customers.

Good luck with your season!!
