Subject: Research Study At the US Army's Research Facility in Natick, MA, they will be conducting a physical fitness study for healthy males 18-35. The program will consist of three months (April 1 to June 30 ) 5 days per week and 90 minutes per day. The program will consist of one of three programs:
1 ) regular running and Army calesthenics,
2 ) Specially designed physical training that includes resistance training with free weights and excercise machines, or
3 ) Specially designed training with resistance training, but that does not include free weights or exercise machines.
Two weeks of testing, eight weeks of training, two weeks of testing (and $500 at the end ). I am currently awaiting a response for types of testing to see if they will include VO2 Max, etc.
Do you think this would be an acceptable addition to a regular Triathlon training sched?
