Subject: Research Study
At the US Army's Research Facility in Natick, MA, they will be conducting a physical fitness study for healthy males 18-35. The program will consist of three months (April 1 to June 30) 5 days per week and 90 minutes per day. The program will consist of one of three programs:

1) regular running and Army calesthenics,
2) Specially designed physical training that includes resistance training with free weights and excercise machines, or
3) Specially designed training with resistance training, but that does not include free weights or exercise machines.

Two weeks of testing, eight weeks of training, two weeks of testing (and $500 at the end). I am currently awaiting a response for types of testing to see if they will include VO2 Max, etc.

Do you think this would be an acceptable addition to a regular Triathlon training sched?
