Any new plans coming?
What about plans based on power and pace?
Or distance for those that would rather train by distance?

All of the above.  Marmadaddy has been spending about half of his programming time this year for the 'custom training plan creator' - generates detailed training plans based on pace and will give you distance too.  The last I checked, with the questionairre we have, this will generate a possible 80-something plan variations depending on your level.  Then you get to customize by pace and pick what days you want to train on and how long it will be...

This should include power versions too...Ricci and I will be discussing that in a few weeks.  We are now debugging the training plan creator and we 'hope' to have something live in the first few months of the year...it's really almost done...

It's getting there. The swim workout details look good, I'm working on the bike workout details now.

I'll be using the training plan creator to design the plan for my first Iron distance race this year. Putting my money where my mouth is so to speak.

I did take a little break from it tonight to work on sending basic workout info via Twitter. The kids seem to be into that these days.   That one should be ready for release pretty quick.

So, are these new updates for the Bronze/Silver/Gold levels? I'm up for renewal and with the current discount, I need to decide which level this month

These plans will be a whole new level, intermediate to Silver and Gold...'Silver PRO' I think...and 'Gold PRO' - though if you upgrade to silver now for the 30% discount, that will eventually save you some $ if you then want to upgrade to Silver PRO when we release it.

I'm not entirely sure on the details yet though until we get closer to launch (Feb 09)

Hey, Ron and Marmadaddy. I was wondering how this was coming along, since one of the people in my Mentor group asked about training plans. The "stock" plans don't quite fit her, so she was looking for alternatives.

I have to say this sounds pretty cool. Also, since I don't know anything about programming stuff, it sounds pretty complicated to create as well.

Keep up the great work!

This has got to be a very difficult project, just wondering if it is still in the works?

Very true.  We had to detour some for the month of the new site, but we have most things done regarding that and will be back working on this exclusively.
