AJ just realized she forgot to put her running shoes in her transition bag that she already checked.   Good thing she'll have access in the morning.

Anyone beat that?

I have a bunch of BT tattoos to hand out if anyone is interested in them. I'll be in the transition area around 5:15 or so tomorrow morning with a wet washcloth to apply them!!

Hi BT,

On Friday morning, I checked a bag at the Gatorade practice swim at IMWI.  The bag number was #653.  I came out of the water at approximately 10:15-10:20 and my bag was gone.  The bag contained a Gatorade water bottle.  The bottle contained two rings, a tungston wedding ring and a gold engagement ring.  If you or someone you know accidently picked up this bag, I would really appreciate hearing from you.  You can feel free to keep the empty water bottle :-)  Thanks, and good luck to all competitors tomorrow.

Yes. At 5:55pm I decided to check out my bike gear and realized I didn't have the straw for my aero bottle. Called the bike shop they only had the full double aero bottle left for $35 (would have paid $100) and were closing in 5 minutes. Gimp foot and all I hauled azz and got there at 6:02 and they had to unlock the door and let me in. Crisis averted. Whew!

Smooth sailing from here
