Suggestion for Gear Tracker

Just a suggestion: Create an option so that when adding gear to the gear tracker, you can add "miles already on equipment" in the gear tracker. I joined, and already had shoes and bike stuff with miles on it. The only way I could put the mileage on the tracker was to add a run or bike ride to my log with 187 miles on it. Well, it puts miles on the gear, but inaccurately adds to the log as far as tracking for month/year totals. Thanks for a great site!
