okay i'm looking for a good heart rate monitor. easy choice you might thin, but!

i also want it to record all my data. including swimdata. so it really needs to be tri specific and i'd love it when i could see the results on my computer. also i'd be nice if i could put my routes online(thinkng google maps)

other functions included: podometer, accelerometer(optional), bike mounting device,...

The only thing i have yet seen is the suunto t6c. anyone know cheaper or better devices?

Depends on the functions you want. I think some of the models are overkill. I have a very basic Polar that has served me well.

Good luck with that.

Sound like you want a GPS device like the Garmin 305 for most of it.  Can't use it for the swim though.

Then a Timex for the swim.

I also know that Polar makes a solid watch/gps (gps still won't work during swimming) so you could limit it to one device.  But it ain't cheap.  Almost 500 bucks.  But a nice watch for sure.
