What I recieved: Non tri: the new george foreman grill with the interchangable plates, new toaser (I asked for this) clothes What I gave : to my 70 year old parents Wii with Wii fit, digital photo frame, soem other misc stuff......also Janice (foolproof) and i gave a shopping cart full of toys to a homeless shelter for the kids who otherwise would have no Chirstmas. |

Non-Tri related: Hubby had new ring built to mount stone from ring doggy chewed several years ago (the dog has good taste  )... he added my two son's birthstones to it (which happen to both be diamonds - lucky me) I gave him LOTS of workout clothes... and gave triple layer fudge to all my friends (so that they must workout harder than me ) |

Oh, and I just picked out this baby yesterday. It'll be a nice entry-level bike for me considering I just did my first season borrowing a friend's dept. store bike. I'm so grateful to her for her kindness, and now that I'll be giving her bike back, I'm gettin' a little sentimental about it. That's the bike that helped me cross the finish line during my first two tris afterall. But, after riding this OCR1 yesterday and going so much faster with so little effort, I won't be looking back for long. I forgot to pack a single pair of socks when we left for the week with my folks so I went to EMS to get a pair of smartwool socks and left with socks, a heavy weight thermal top and midweight thermal bottoms. My sister got me "It's Always Sunny in Philly" on DVD and the wife got me the "Simpsons Movie". My mom continued her run of ignoring any suggestions and buying me crap I don't need/want. Call me a DBag if you like, but it really is crap. I stopped being apologetic about it years ago. |
