Looks like XTERRA Planet has posted the '09 series.  Not only did the 5430 Steamboat tri get cancelled, it appears that the Crested Butte XTERRA has also been cancelled.  That has me bummed.  All be it the most technical Colorado course, it was just fun.  Sprained ankle and all.  According to their website it had to due with access issues. 

So here's the '09 Schedule:

6/20 XTERRA Buffalo Creek

7/18 XTERRA Beaver Creek

8/1 XTERRA Indian Peaks/Eldora

9/26-27 XTERRA UTAH/US Championships

On the bright side, at least the races are spread out this year and not back to back.  On the downside, the Butte was super cool, and I was looking forward to the redemption.

So who's jumpin' in the the dirt side this year?

Being in Boulder, that's the spot for a lot of the XTERRA big dogs!

plan on trying buffallo creek as a first xterra, will have to skip Boulder sprint though.
