joemac3 - 2009-01-23 10:09 AM lunch sounds good. but so does doing absolutely nothing today! I think I am going to try to do that. Lets see how long I can sit on BT before I have to do something. I think I have been up since about 1 AM or so.

why?!

Don't know I came home from work early and just never got tired. So now at 7:30 I feel the same as I did at 1 AM. Its really wierd.

Ah...that makes sense.  It's happened to me before.  A few days later, I usually end up sleeping all day.

That sounds nice

Sprint_DA - 2009-01-23 7:18 AM I'll start having my 1000 monkeys on 1000 typewrites write the greatest story ever written.

But it would take a million years...

But it would look like this.

seriously whats up with that. when I first started in TAN if you had to type more than 3 or 4 sentences you would miss an entire page. now I can actually do some work and surf other sites and comeback and I am still the last person who posted. I think its a little sad if you ask me.

A lot of people have left.  I mean A LOT of people.  There are only about 6-8 left on most days.  TAN is a shell of its former self.

Day 5 of the TRUE effort to drop some pounds.  Most other efforts, though successful, have been half hearted...  I'm getting to race weight this year for sure and snag some AG podiums spots (is my goal).

It's easy and hard at the same time....

I almost called in today for a mental health day.  But calling in for a Friday (and it's only a half day) looks suspicious.

So, where does "Artemis" come from?  (the screen name)  What's the significance?

College.  The house I lived in with my husband and 3 other guys owned the now-defunct domain lostgods.org.  So, we each had a god as an email.  My husband picked Artemis for me.

Cool.  I wish I was that creative.

I just picked one that used to be an old password a long time ago.  Had I know BT was going to turn into this and not just another random place I signed up at, I would have come up with something with a little more 'pop'.

I was pretty excited that the name wasn't taken when I joined.  Usually it is.

A few people have changed their name.  That's always an option.

If it was really bad, I might.  But it's 'tolerable', and people know me by it.

I just realized that I'm about to break into the top ten posters on BT (of those who show their count).  I'm several hundred behind Sharkie, but she hasn't been on since December.  I hope she is ok...

I could call myself Grudge Boy or The Grudge, but that sounds like I'm an angry person.

BTW, still not tired of the avatar.   I get bored pretty quick, but not this time for some reason.

3.5 more hours.  Then I have to run or swim or something.  Mostly run and lift.  But I have no energy.  Dang calorie counting.

I assume the body is in 'shock' this first week and will get used to it and start to feel better.
