I'm training for my first triathlon (coming up on May 2nd) and my admiration for all of you triathletes grows daily. I've tried my first bike/run brick and now I know why they call them bricks - your legs feel like concrete when you start running! I've run two marathons, but no run has ever felt as difficult as that first 10 minutes after hopping off the bike. Despite the fact that the legs feel like concrete and I may drown in the pool anyday now, this triathlon training thing is really fun! I'm looking forward to sharing advice and stories with y'all.

Welcome to the group Tex! Keep us informed on your training and racing and check in often for motivation. Always good to have another triathlete out there.
