Nice job both of you! Keep up the running WS, you'll be there in no time!

I am taking a much deserved day off after playing 6 hockey games in the last 3 days. We won the tournament we played in at the Quad Cities Midwest Womens tourney! Then we played 2 games last night, so today will be a rest day.
Here's the happy bunch after we won. I'm the one in the middle in the first row with my son on my knee. We beat a bunch of college kids for the championship. Not bad for a bunch of 30-over women!
Also, I took great care taking Josh out on the ice and he was only out there for about a minute. Then he was bundled up again and we headed home.
It was a great weekend!

OMG! Did your flip flops freeze to the pavement? Your intentions were noble. The workout still counts! At 550 AM I was still deep asleep!

Speedo makes the best products! The Flip flops performed incredibly. My only thought when running with this Bright orange Towel over my head, "if there is a real fire, I am going to have to show the others how to jump a 6 foot fence!!"

Mt. bike commute and swim lesson tonight.
Have to do abs today too if I'm going to keep up to that silly ab challenge schedule.

30 mile ride today with one of my riding friends. Made it a really nice, relaxing ride with some good hills thrown in at the beginning and end. Neither of us felt like riding hard so we just took it easy and visited most of the way. Going to get 2000 or so yards in the pool before work tonight too. Have a great afternoon everyone!

Congratulations on winning the hockey tournament!  That brings back fond memories from my hockey playing days in college.  I played back in the mid to late 70s.  We were the first generation of female college players.  We weren't even a varisty sport.  We were a club sport, and had hand-me-down jerseys from the men's team.  There weren't enough for the the whole team, so we goalies supplied our own. (Yes, I was one of those insane people allowed other people to shoot hard rubber objects at them)

Here's our team picture from 1976-77 season. I'm the short one on the end.

I often thought about playing again, but I can't afford another sport with insanely expensive equipment.
