I second that. Can't wait to go watch some of the famous NYC parade! Especially all those cute firemen!

I take my surname from an Irish predecessor but it's the part of my family tree I know least about.

Happy Day to you!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  How about workout today and rest tomorrow?  That might work better.

At some point in my life, I would love to compete in an event over in Ireland. I have relatives (distant cousins) that live there. Maybe next year.

Bagpipes?? Aren't those Scottish?? I thought Ulean pipes were the Irish equivalent... Anywho, I'm listening to Black 47 today

Frank,

very perceptive! Not many people from beyond the Celtic areas know the difference - "bag pipes" seem to equal "Celtic" (i.e. Irish & Scots etc.) to everyone!

happy belated st. patrick's day. its a big deal here in st. paul, as there are lots of irish-americans in town. we didn't do much this year, unfortunately. last year we made homemade corned beef and colannon. we're only about 1/4 irish (surname is connell, girls are ella kathleen and fiona eileen, both with red hair), but would really like to visit and trace some ancestry.
