Subject: 05 race schedule
we won't be at gearwest, since that's e's bday weekend and we have family coming into town. may add in a 5k here or there. here are the races i'll be at this year:

jan 23 - frigid 5k (done)
feb 13 - tri-u-mah indoor tri (done)
mar 12 - dcftc indoor tri (done)
april 9 - running opener 8 miler
april 24 - ironcrotch 40 mile ride*
may 14 - oakdale duo (w/ husband)
june 18 - bjorklund half-marathon
july 2 - minneman sprint tri
july 17 - heart of lakes oly/long
aug 7 - brewhouse oly/long
aug 20 - perch lake mile swim*
sept 4 - st. croix valley oly (maybe)
sept 11 - st. paul classic 30 mile ride OR muddy buddy chicago
sept 17/18 - tour de sprawl ride OR devil's lake challenge
oct 8 - autumn woods classic 10k*
oct 15 - big woods half-marathon


* not yet registered, but planning on it

I am a fellow Minnesotan, but it doesn't look as though we will cross paths.

Is the Bjorklund in Detroit Lakes?

The Minneman is just minutes away from my inlaws. My wife and I took the kids to Lk Geo. last summer and I thought it would be a great place to have a tri. Wrong date for me however. My folks usually come for a visit here in the northland over the 4th. I may hit a sprint tri in Perham that day. We also have a 5k here in Park Rapids on the two days later on the fourth.

bjorklund is the 1/2 marathon that happens the same weekend as grandma's marathon, both up in duluth (or at least ending in duluth). we usually go to illinois for the 4th, but we're going down there early june for a visit (on our way to ohio for a wedding - which is why i won't be at the buffalo tri this year). have a great season!

I'll see you at Devil's Lake! I will hopefully be racing, but if not, I'll definitely be there cheering.
