Subject: Logging Swim Drills
I was just wondering how people typically log their time when doing swim drills (or any sort of interval training for that manner - including running)...? Do you include the full time of the workout - start to finish...? Or do you exclude the rest periods between sets...? Just curious as to what the common approach to this is.... thanks...

I log start to finish. I find that trying to keep track of all the other minutiae detracts my focus from the actual workout.

When looking at training volume totals on graphs etc, I'm comparing one time frame to another. I figure that as long as I'm consistent about how I record the time, the data I'm looking at is valid and useful.
