Subject: RE: P90x for Cross Training I ordered it last Friday. It’s supposed to arrive Thursday. I’m planning to do a couple sprints and Olympics through August, then a half iron in October. I should be able to get the 90 days in before I really get into my half training plan.
I know a couple people who've used it and have seen noticeable results (though not cross-training for triathlon ). I ordered it mostly for the core workouts and hopefully to get some muscle definition in my upper body since I’ve never done much weight training. Plus, I cannot seem to get those last 8-10 pounds off and wanted to try something else.
I’ve read several threads on their message boards where their experts recommend not running, etc. while you’re on the plan. I’m planning to add the workouts core and dumbbell workouts to my current routine and probably will not bother with the cardio and kenpo workouts.
