Subject: Freehub on a freewheel hub
Is this possible?  I am bike neophyte so I bought a new wheel for my mtb.  Then I bought a cassette not knowing that there were two types of hubs.  So now I have a cassette for a freehub and a wheel with a freewheel hub.  Can I buy a freehub piece that will screw into into the freewheel hub?  Thank you!

Not that I'm aware of ..... the freehub is the same sort of diameter as the freewheel threaded portion of the hub, so you couldn't retrofit it that way.

Forget what I said, I just thought the same thing.  How am I going to get it on.  Like I said I am bike neophyte.  Thanks for setting me straight:}
