AddysDaddy - 2009-06-15 8:55 AM Nice Race everyone,  Anyone know where the results are online?
They said they'll be posted on the lith.org web site but they're not on there yet. I wanna know my splits!!! I saw Whizzz and DClough out there and met KTPitbull for the first time. Whizzz kicked my butt up and down the swim and bike. Nice race everybody!

Man, I must have just missed you.  I see you post here all the time, and you met all my peeps.  Maybe next time.  You doing Chicago this year?

Yeah on a relay with Crowny and his missus. Or should I say `with Crowny and her mister.'

I'm the runner. Obviously.

Lake in the Hills
Subject: RE: lake in the hill triathlon
lithguy5868 - 2009-06-22 1:19 PM hi,
I've been doing quite a few 5k and 10k and have been doing some biking and swimming and think I'm ready to seriously consider doing my first sprint tri.  My question is where can I train for the swimming in the Lake in the Hills area?  At the main lake/beach?  I thought I had heard there were specific nights that people came there and trained.  Any information anyone has on hints how I can get started training on the swim portion would help.  Also, how long would I need to train before my first sprint?  Could I still do one later in July or August if I start now?

Thanks for any help.

Wednesday nights at Indian Trail Beach.  It is five dollars.  The swim is setup as an out and back 800yds.  There is a course setup for a T run of 3 miles (Out and Back)

You could still complete a sprint with training, but without knowing anything else about you I have no idea how competitive you will be in the swim or how much training you will need.

You can swim for free @ Crystal Lake. Tuesdays at 6 am ( arrive early in order to get your wetsuit on, or get yourself ready ) and Thursdays at 5:30 am.
