Subject: Upgrade , carbon frame x wheels?

Hello there,

I am looking into giving myself a nice birthday present , i currently ride a aluminun bike, what do you think would be more beneficial ? a carbon frame or some race wheels ...

Is your aluminum frame road or tri geometry? If it's road geometry I'd say get a carbon tri frame that will put you in a good aero position. Aero position> aero frame> aero wheels.

If your current bike fits and is tri geometry, there's no "need" to change... Race wheels are pretty and will make you a bit faster. A new frame is pretty too, and may be lighter than your current. Depending on your budget - if you do it right you may be able to do both... I'd say wheels first.

If you don't have a CF front fork-get one; then I'd consider a CF seat post.  Isolate yourself from  road vibrations with CF everyplace you can; you'll be more comfortable.    That being done-then I'd consider buying wheels.   Think of all the $$$ you'll save.
