Subject: Strauss IMAZ Pre-Race Talk, Fri, 9am @ swim start Hi, I will conduct a free pre-race talk for all IMAZ athletes on Friday, 4/8 at 9am at the swim start. I've given this talk at 5 IMNA races to about 400 total athletes. Just look for the strikingly bald guy in the CF jersey. Topics will include pacing, nutrition, emotional and decision-making strategies, etc. Don't worry, I do a good job of putting your head in the right place, rather than introducing new ideas to make you doubt your own race plan. I don't present a plan but rather a list of simple principles to help you make sound decisions on race day. All attendees will receive a coupon for $20 off a CF Ironman training plan for your next race. Anyone not racing is welcome to ride the course with me immediately after the talk. Cheers,
