Good deal on a Kuota, not sure I can get to ride one.   Willing to risk it (bought my tri bike online) Used to ride a 60 cm trek roadie, now ride a 57 Litespeed tri bike.  Avail. are 58 (XL) and 61 (XXL).  I assume 61, but.....

I stand 6'2"

Here is current geometry on my Tri Bike (I am 57)

I would rather be slightly undersized then even a hair's breath over.  Conservative side of me says buying blind to go with the XL ...... and NOT the XXL.  Especially if you are fit comfortably to a 57 tri geometry.

I used to ride 60's for everything.  Now in my "old age" I've gone down to 58's.  I feel much more comfortable on them and even though I sometimes need a little extra seat pole, they still work fine.

And I'm 6'-1".

Thanks Rick, was hoping you'd chime in (that's why I added "bike experts" to the title... like a trout to a fly, you can't help it )

i'd go with the XL too. you'd be kinda streched out on the XXL, if i'm looking at the geometry right, even if the head tube is taller.

Chris -my tri team is sponsored by Kuota.  The factory rep said that it would make a difference to him with the model that you were buying.  Are you looking at a KOM, Kredo, Kebel or Kahrma?

ChrisM - 2009-03-10 12:16 AM Hi John, looking at an 08 Kharma

OK, Alexandre at Kuota says your an XL, unless you are extremely mis-proportioned.  Love love love the Kharma.  I like the white one over the red one.  I think spending the extra for the DA over the Ultegra is a bad idea.  The weight difference is not worth the price difference and I - in my limited ability - felt no difference in the shifting, for what it's worth.
