OWS at Bartlett Lake Saturday March 21

Expert  662    Tempe Silver member |  Subject: OWS at Bartlett Lake Saturday March 21Chad, Robin, Dean and I (and maybe a few others?) are going to be out at Bartlett Lake for the OWS swim clinic this Saturday 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The clinic is sponsored by Tri-family racing and Triple Sports. After we get done swimming (I don't think any of us plan to swim the whole two hours!), we plan to bike for a bit and even run for a bit. Then we'll drink beer and have lunch! Even if you don't want to come out for the OWS, we could set a time for when we'll set out on the bike or run. Or at minimum, bring a cooler of beer (NEWBIES!!!) and some food, and we can party! I'm actually thinking about doing an open water swim sometime Sunday if anyone would like to join. I live centrally so I can do Saguaro or Lake Pleasant. I've never been to lake pleasant actually. |

Here's the text from the Tri-family website: There will be a FREE swim clinic complete with wetsuits on Saturday March 21, from 8am to 10am at Rattle Snake Cove, Bartlett Lake. Come try out the latest in wetsuits and get some tips for the BIG race! Since the clinic is being partly sponsored by Triple Sports, I'm guessing that's who is bringing out the wetsuits. So if you want to do an OWS but don't have a wetsuit, this may be a great time to try them out in the water! |

You might want to rent one for the Tempe Intl, and this way you can get some fitting help and find one that fits. John |

I am taking my boat up, so I would just do the swim and then take the wife out on the boat. What time were you all thinking of starting? Right at the beginning? 8am? |
