OK - how many of you got GU, power bars, bike levers or other associated tri gear or food instead of the chocolate bunny.  I actually got a stock pile of energy bars and a new dumb bell set ( one of those that you can switch the amount of weight on really quick)  I was pretty excited with the basket but all my non-tri friends just didn't get it and wanted to know where the malted milk balls and jelly beans were.  Must admit that some of that stuff is better tasting but I was more excited that the wife has bought into this hobby and is supporting it...

Gee, now I think I should've hinted to my husband. I've been hoovering my preschooler's chocolate eggs. (At least I'm honest about it - it's all in the training log!)

My wife hooked me up with:
5 Crunchy Peanut Butter Clif Bars
1 Cookies and Cream Clif Bar
1 Chocolate Mint Cliff Bar
2 Tire Levers
1 Bottle of Degreaser
1 Bottle of Lube

No candy. My friends understand, but they still laugh at me getting bars instead of candy.

I was forgotten also.  However, I gave my wife, who's pregnant, an Easter basket filled with different energy bars; Clif, Luna, etc.  All without chocolate, so she can have a healthy snack and see which ones she likes for future reference.  The basket itself was the best part.  It was a plush smallish basket shaped like a tan dog.  She loved it and our rat terrier thought it was a new toy for him!!  He must have stood there in front of the counter for 30 minutes looking up at it.
