Subject: Lance in the hospital?

CNN just reported that Lance Armstrong was taken to the hospital after falling during a race.  They think it might be a broken collarbone.  I don't have a link for more information, but hope someone else has some information.

If he has a broken collarbone, what is the recovery?  Would he have any chance of racing the TdF?

Didn't he just race in Milan-San Remo on Saturday?  Every report I read talked about him finishing and didn't mention any crashes.

About the injury, I guess these things happen.  Best of luck in his recovery.  I hope he gets back in time for the tdf because when someone not named Lance Armstrong wins, I don't want to have to hear "Well Lance was injured and was out..." for the next year.

Given its a clean break sounds like he might loose a week then be back on a trainer as soon as he can... 4-6 weeks recovery should get him to the start line of the Giro if he wants it?

Although perhaps a little underdone...

He just updated his facebook page saying at 3pm:

i'm alive! Broken clavicle (right). Hurts like hell for now. Surgery in a couple of days. Thanks for all the well wishes.

Then just updated with a picture and

Sitting here with Johan at his house. Glass of wine, cheese and crackers. Now going to bed. Night y'all
