Subject: Been a lurker, now done first race - Slidell LA
Did my first race on Sunday, Pelicanman Duathlon and surprised myself a bit by doing it in under an hour and not feeling totally out of place!

This year I only plan to do du's since I've not done any swimming since I was 12, or something like that!

Swimming may start this coming winter...

Given that I don't think I could swim any distance comfortably at the moment I think the tri sounds harder! Getting in the pool is in my plan though...the club is addictive!
