Subject: 2009 cervelo p2 vs. 2008 quintana roo caliente
Cant decide which to get.  The qroo is a $3500 bike marked down, dura ace components.  Would have to pay someone to put it together.  The P2 (ultegra group) comes with free lifetime adjustments.  Final price on each is similar...qroo is $2100 plus cost to assemble.  P2 is $2295, plus tax with lifetime free tune ups.  What would you do???

see which one would fit better and ride on them.  go to cervelo lbs and quintana roo and check them out.

read some reviews and then make a decision.  p2 is a great bike, i have it love it.  can't wait to ride it.  but i rode a couple of the roo bikes and they are very nice as well.  after the fitting the p2 felt smoother somehow and fit me better.

Caliente is even cheaper if you can catch it on Bonktown ~$1,800.

These bikes fit quite differently... I would not buy either until you know which geometry would fit YOU... go and find a good bike fitter in you area before spending a couple of thousands on a bike that may or may not work for you...

I had the exact same issue with the same bikes last year.  I ended up with the P2C and love it.  Get fit on whatever you think about though
