Subject: Any lawyer types among the cool kids?

Specifically, Ann (And I as husband) were served with a civil suit related to a traffic accident Aug 2007. Evidently after the insurance company rejected most of his claim, he feels that he still should be paid more.

So, if there are any lawyers around or if you have any recommendations, they would be most appreciated.

EEEEW SUCKAGE! I am NOT a lawyer, nor do I play one on TV, but my brother in law is and is in litigation (the cool nasty kind) so I enjoy harassing him with legal questions. If you just need some simple advice you can PM me and I can pass it on to him. But if you are looking for something more, they're all going to charge you, because, well...that's what lawyers do!

Well, I talked with the insurance adjuster. He originally wanted $75,000, they offered $10,000. So, he rejected it and filed suit.

She is real nice, I guess their lawyers handle it all, and exposure would be limited to anything over the $100,000 on the policy, which he isn't asking for anway.

We'll see how it shakes out, but some peace of mind anyway...

I don't know any lawyers in town, but I'll be pulling for the loser to spend more money on his lawyer bills than he receives from any of this!

Oh, I doubt he's paying much. He's probably using his daddy's firm (Daddy is a lawyer).
