Cannondale Slice HI MOD 5

My training pal has got the 2008 version which is the same but a different paint scheme. He loves the bike and has had no problems with it. Bear in mind the price went up from 2008-2009 model by £400 in the UK purely because it sold out in 2008. Worth using as a negotiation tool with your LBS.

I know that's a really nice frame, but man...when I spend $3K for a bike it had better not have 105 components anywhere in site.

As far as working a deal, I'm not sure Chain Reaction is going to come down in price. That's a pretty hot selling bike. Maybe they'll throw in some free pedals or discount any accessories you buy along with the bike.

Ive been looking at the Slice lately simply because my closest LBS is a dealer. Beautiful bike but I agree with the 105 thing.

The LBS has one on the floor ( I think its the 3 which is the one I would go with anyway) in my size thats been there for some time. Ill have to check it closer to which Slice it is and what components it has on it but after reading up on it I think its on my list for various reasons.
