Thursday's workout calls for a 45 min run followed directly by a 90 minute run. Do you guys go to the pool and then run from/back to the gym? I guess I can create a path from the gym. I don't think I want to suffer through 90 mins on the treadmill

Personally I'll walk back home (10-15min) and then go out for the run. But you can also run from the gym and do a loop if you have a locker there. I agree that 90 min on a treadmill doesn't sound like a fun time.

Thanks folks, I'll probably drive home. I have to find a way to fit 2.25 hours of straigh workout around work

Run from the gym it is a great workout.

I did a long swim then a short run today right afterwards and really felt great. I did think hmmm I could have run outside but didn't even consider it. Strange after a crappy winter and many runs on the treadmill I don't dislike it so much any more.

There are some great loops near my gym and I run outside there all the time.  I have a locker, etc. Agree that 90' in TM is awful

I do this workout pretty frequently.  My gym is 10 mins ride by car.  I drive there -  take everything i need with me -  do my swim - run 45 min out and back to gym - drive home.

I'd swim at lunch and then run when I got home from work

Just out of curiosity: what plan you are following that has a 45min swim + 90 min transition run?
