hard work & patience pays off!

I just have to gloat a little (ok, maybe a lot). I had such an inspiring weekend for working out. Saturday was the first session of my swim tri stroke clinics, and after putting myself in the slow lane, and the coach watching us all swim, he moved me to lane one!!!!! wow, I was with the fast kids! Having just started swimming one year ago, I must give hope to all those who think it will neve click in. It felt so wonderful.
Then, yesterday, I did my first 10K in almost 2 years, after having the worst injury of my life (ruptured my plantar fascia). After so much patience & not running for months & months, I was so happy to cross the finish line with no pain. Yeah!!!!!!
