Awesome! Now you know what it's like to do one.  You'll do great in your next one. Every event is a learning experience.

I swam off course - in my second triathlonEmbarassed.   Simple solution- I just needed to look up for the buoys.

Great job on your first tri!! I've had the same problem with the swim that you've described. Just did my third one on Sunday and darn it if the same thing didn't happen again! Way to go!! Have a great summer training!
