Hi, I just thought that I would relate this to other forum members. Some time ago someone ran a thread on Montreal and when I responded that I loved that city and lived quite near it, Ellen suggested we meet--she with her husband and I with my wife, so get your minds out of the gutter--for dinner. She had to come to Montreal on personal business and my wife and I took the opportunity to go visit our daughter. So this past Sunday we met with them in Montreal for dinner and we had a wonderful evening; they are such a charming couple. (I certainly hope that you guys had as good a time as we did.) And for the rest of the guys if the opportunity present itself to meet someone from this forum, get out there and meet them; it's nice to meet someone who knows what you are talking about when it comes to triathlons.

Oh that’s nice isn’t it. Ellen drives straight past my house to go skiing or visit you and doesn’t call in. I’ll remember that!!

Actually I was in Montreal a few weeks ago and met another couple of people from another forum I frequent!! Must be something about that city!

Where is Ellen? I went to Florida for a week, then my husband destroyed my computer, got it back yesterday. I don't see any post from her at all?

Hope she is okay.

Hmmmm....I haven't heard from Ellen since we parted company in Montreal on Sunday evening. We (my wife and I) had one heck of a drive home Sunday evening because of a freak snow storm which caused HWY 417 to be closed for awhile. Ellen, however, stayed in Montreal that evening because she had an appointment in that city on Monday so there was no problem with the storm for her that evening. Let's just hope that she and her husband are having such a good time in Montreal that they simply do not have time to bother with logging onto the forum.
