hey all-

new to the sport, just completed the Rumpass in Bumpass Spring.  woo-hoo!  it was great!  received alot of encouragement from folks when they found out i was a newbie.  thanks, i'm hooked!  i'm signed up for the Nation's Tri in September, looking to do more sprints before then.

loved the swim -- although that buoy looked alot further than i was expecting!

cheers!

Welcome! Now the question is...upper or lower Arlington? There aren't many inside-the-beltway BTers, most are out in the 'burbs.

Welcome x3! I'm in Falls Church, near Tysons (that's considered inside the Beltway, right?). I used to live in Arlington, though - in Courthouse. Loved it. There are a bunch of weirdos out in Reston/Herndon/Sterling, but they aren't as cool (kidding, we are friends with all of them)

Welcome. I try to run in Arlington on my lunch breaks. I do live outside the beltway, but still think I'm pretty cool.

Oh, then we can't associate with you...Laughing

hehe, if you haven't done so make sure you put Virginia in your profile and you can see the Virginia forums, or you can go to the bottom of the forum and go to US training groups and find it that way also

Welcome!

I am one of the weirdos who lives out west. We have a good group that gets together for training, socializing, etc. Check out the VA forums for more info.
