After supporting my wife through her very first Tri last weekend, it's finally my turn this weekend. First of the year, third season doing tris. 400 M pool swim, 14 mile bike and 5K run. Weather man is calling for rain, so that sucks. I hope the bike doesn't get canceled. It's been known to happen around here.

Doing the Corpus Christi Triathlon on Sunday.  1000m (OW bay swim), 30k bike, 5k run.  Touted as the "toughest swim in Texas" (complete with salt, waves, oil and jellyfish - good times)...  Should be flat and fast (maybe a little windy too).  This will be the first tri of my season, so I am super stoked to get out there.   Good luck to the BT peeps racing this weekend!!!

Not really a "race" per se, but I got roped into doing the Run Amuck 5K mud run here in DC on Saturday with a fellow BT'er who needed an extra team member at the last minute Purely for fun, not for time, as it will involve mud pits and water and swinging from crap, etc. Should be a good time!

I think I'm the designated adult supervision for a sprint at Gustavus Adolphus College in rural MN that is put on by a fraternity and promoted primarily on Facebook. Best posting on the Facebook Group: "Looks like a blast! LOL! Do I need to find my own bike or are you providing them?"

First race with a pool swim for me, which I assume means the college hotties won't be covered in unseemly amounts of neoprene.

And unless all the gals from the swim team show up, the ladies will all be in bikinis, since most college-age girls don't own a Speedo...

St. A's in St. Pete!  Usually it's a nice escape to FL for me from some cold location.  This year, I already LIVE in FL!  At least I'm more acclimated than usual!

St. Anthony's for me.

My husband Kevin G is doing his first Meek and Mighty along with our daughter Emily.

If you have time stop by his blog to encourage him. I'm pretty excited for him...he has lost about 25 pounds since december and can keep up with me running and biking and never saw himself as athletic. Even his boss has noticed a big difference in him and he only sees his boss every few months.
