Yeah, if K is able to switch, then I am a definite in.

Wish I could guys, but have a crazy work schedule on Thursday I have a vacation day Wednesday so I'm riding a loop and running 13.1. I'd love some company (from anyone here, all are welcome!) but understand if you guys would rather ride Thursday without me. I can just study the course map carefully and figure it out!

So are all these rides planned for early in the day? I would join you on a weekday ride if it was late enough that I didn't have to skip work.

If I can come up with childcare for the morning I could do it.... Not sure I can come up with childcare, though.

Couple questions.

1. What time are you planning on heading out next Wednesday?

2. Saturday the 27th, are you meeting up with the WIBA group (http://robbyb.com/wiba/) or going off on your own? What time?

Who's in for 1 loop next wed (Michele?) and anyone wanna ride 2 loops Saturday the 27th?

I like to ride early so it would be in the morning for sure. I also have to run 13 that day and don't want to be doing it too late. For the 27th, no groups, just a couple of us doing a ride.

I may be doing some shorter rides, 1.5-2 hours that I could do at night, but the Wednesday one will be in the morning.

I wouldn't make Wed. for having to work until 5.

Sat. may look doable - I don't foresee any basketball stuff going on.

Would going super early in the morning, like 5/5:30 a.m. help any? With the nasty heat and people's work schedules it could be a good idea. I'd hate to be forced to ride the HHH course again just because it's marked

FYI the IMMOO course is marked, except for a couple spots in Mt. Horeb and at the beginning of the loop. I just rode it today, and the rain dissolved the UW Health bill on which I wrote directions (so I don't have to pay it!) so I had to navigate by triathlete instinct alone. And the course markings. First time on the course, and it was marked well enough for me to complete it without instructions.

Edit: the Woods Rd. detour is marked as well.

Oh yeah one more thing. Whenever I started thinking I might be on the wrong road, I was reassured by a GU wrapper on the road. I even saw one of those aero drink sponges out there.

So yeah, the turns are marked with orange thingies, and the roads in between the turns are marked with GU. Impossible to get lost.

Lol, good to know. Let's hope the wrappers don't blow away before Wednesday!
