Swim
Comments: Pleased with swim. Samll pool with narrow lanes so bashed hands with other swimmers a couple of times. Slower swimmers held me back btu allowed me to catch my breath until the end of the lane. What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 1
Comments: Good T1. It was an awkward transition layout and you had to get over a kerb before getting on bike. Really pleased with Tri suit - top buy and cut down on T1 time massively. What would you do differently?: Might try bare feet into shoes already on bike, but need to practice first!! Bike
Comments: Felt a little nauseoaus on bike. I thnink I had too much carb drink before the race. Again lost all places on hills - must work harder on hill training boo. What would you do differently?: Train for hills Transition 2

Comments: Not an inspirong run but okay - don't like doing so many laps - it's boring, however was feeling tired at end. Bike to run was hard work, legs felt heavy. What would you do differently?: More brick training required Post race
Warm down: Fell on ground, drank lots of water!! What limited your ability to perform faster: pace on hills on bike Intial run after bike Event comments: Good organisation. The roads are quite poor quality and the track from the sports centre to the roads is cinders which isn't too good. Enjopyed the race and glad to have another race under my belt - am I really a triathlete now? Feels like i'm faking it, better do another one to be sure - have to leave it until after my wedding and honeymoon though!! NOTE: Waiting for Official timings - these are my own.
