went out ok but on the middle leg I wasted time trying to locate the buoy when it was not visible due to the waves.
What would you do differently?:

Just keep swimming hard and following in the correct general direction until it is possible to sight the buoy

felt pretty dizzy coming into t1 wich caused it to be slower than ideal

nothing, I need a different wetsuit if I am going to be able to pull it off at the same time as putting on my helmet etc.

Nice race! I graduated from UCSB a few years back and now wish that I had done the tri there, but I wasn`t into tri`ing at the time. That `s a great run split after a fast race, awsome work!
